Nobility Ware is a sister piece of Queen’s Ware, exploring similar themes through the lens of Korean history. Goryeo Celadon, otherwise known as Sanggamchongja, is the ceramic type that was beloved by Korean upper-classmen during the 12th century (the Goryeo dynasty), and foie gras is a delicacy worldwide. The base of cheaply-produced, modest polyester sets the stage for my rampant dreams of success and status as symbolized by these products.
