Queen’s Ware portrays a dreamer. Wedgwood (Jasperware, Queen’s ware) and caviar are luxurious items. Wedgwood is a royally accepted pottery that was mass-produced, and caviar is one of the world’s delicacies. Denim, alternatively, is widely worn because of its affordable price and great durability. Connecting these items to desirable memories of wanting to be highly successful in the future, I create a bridge between Wedgwood aesthetics and history and caviar food packaging as a way of representing myself. Using denim as a modest foundation, I make space for big future dreams.
